A winner was selected from 22 designs submitted by 5 freelance designers.
Real Estate X
Real Estate contact and transaction management, we look to simplify the business process for Real Estate Agents and brokerages by managing their transactions online. We are a complete web based product with key features being document management, scheduling, reporting and electronic signing among others.
Our web application has been live and in use for the past year. Although out first layout and design of the web application has served us well, our customer base and feature set have expanded beyond its current capacity. This project is to re-design the layout, look and feel of our web application. We are not loyal to our current design patterns and layout. Feel free to change as much or as little as you feel fit in your proposals.
Our application includes the following features that will be incorporated into the design:
Customer Relationship Management
Listed in main layout in relation to transactions. List includes the status of the client, Client Name, and link to edit. Edit form is launch into a modal. When a user is selected, the contact information is displayed for easy reference.
Transaction Management
Transactions are listed in main layout in the center panel. List includes the status of the transaction, name of the transaction and link to edit and the transaction service report.
Document Management
When the user selects a transaction, the documents associated with the transaction are listed in the right panel. List includes the document type logo, name, and link to the document info. To view documents, they are launched into a modal window for viewing.
Electronic Signatures
Electronic Signatures are used to sign pdf documents in the transaction. The signing integration is launched into a modal window. When a document is sent for signing, an envelope is added to the transaction’s document list.
Email
Users can email links for documents uploaded to transactions.
Scheduling
Realtor’s can schedule events for clients. The calendar is launched into modal window. To create events, a form is launched into a modal window. Events are associated with clients in the form otherwise the calendar view is for all clients.
Showing and Client Feedback
An email is sent to agents or your clients requesting their feedback through a form.
Client Service Report
Client Service Reports aggregate all the events on a transaction. Each event creates an entry in the service report. The user can edit the event and choose to share with clients in the external view of the Client Service Report. The edited and included information is provided to clients as a link to webpage for viewing.
Further Requirements
• The only constraint is, the winning design must incorporate our logo and this color #66CCFF.
• Full creative control is awarded to the candidates submitting designs.
• The design must include:
o Re-designed main layout
o External view template (showing feedback, and Client Service Report)
o HTML email template (Email links to Clients)
o Modal Windows (If that pattern persists after the main design has been re-designed).
o Design should be fluid, and portable to tablet devices.
o Buttons with text should be generic
o Design submitted as layered PSD.
Our user community is Real Estate Professionals varying in age from their 20s until nearing retirement. They are a mobile group that emphasizes intuitive and efficient design when discussed in our user group sessions. Our users are primarily in North America.
