john.burford got their new book cover by running a design contest:
ACT Curriculum Book--Minimalist Like Apple
Check out john.burford's Book cover contest…
We do private tutoring and group courses for the ACT, SAT, and PSAT.
What's your vision?
So far, our ACT curriculum has consisted of 2 things: the Real ACT Book (available on Amazon) and a binder with our curriculum in it. We are switching to books because they look more professional and are cheaper. The project is for our new ACT curriculum book. The book will be an 8.5 x 11 paperback and is 391 black-and-white pages. For the front, I'd like it to say "The Magnolia Prep Guide to the ACT" and "John Burford" (me, the author). I'd also like our logo, which I've attached, in the bottom right. For the spine, I'd like the same 3 things: "The Magnolia Prep Guide to the ACT", "John Burford", and our logo. The design should look minimalist, like Apple. No generic smiling student, no paragraphs about why we're awesome, etc. Our colors are black, white, and green. Here is our website so you can get a general feel: magnoliaprep.com
