Alessio has been my favorite designer to work with of all the projects I've done! He is incredibly patient, punctual and very pleasant to communicate with. I am very picky about small details on my design and he was so accommodating to my vision through the process. He is impressively skilled at taking direction and was happy to make adjustments to make the design exactly what I envisioned (even when I had a hard time articulating what I wanted!) He is able to expand on your ideas and make them better than you even imagine yourself and is always respectful of your wants and opinions. Couldn't give a more glowing review. I would highly highly recommend him for your next project! I am so happy I chose him and would hire him again in a second!

I would highly recommend working with Julius as a designer: A fast worker, excellent design compositions and receptive to feedback, Julius has been a pleasure to work with. I'm looking forward to the next project!
Third time working with this designer. As ever, they are completely professional, polite and patient. As such, the end product is always of the absolute best quality. Top work. :-)

Outstanding, professional, and talented from the start (just look at her work). Highly recommend.
In my contest detail form I gave some ideas of what I wanted, within the form there were other details that this designer, Radio Designs, picked up on and incorporated into the design. others picked up on this also but the winning design hit the mark.

How 2018.lola.andrews started their book cover journey
A Queen Rises
Lola lives in Madrid, Spain, with her girlfriend and her grouchy turtle, Conchita. When not writing (or working!) Lola can be found pole dancing, drinking wine and watching old movies.
Marcela, her mother tells her, doesn't know how good she has it. Of noble birth, wealthy, and all but guaranteed a life of luxury, Marcela has only to learn how a real lady behaves - but that proves to be more difficult than it sounds.
Chastised again and again, Marcela spends whole days locked in the cellar, going without food and shrouded in darkness. There, she dreams of the faraway lands of her father's stories and wonders about her mother's grim and mysterious past.
When the queen dies, all the noble families of the kingdom flock to attend a ball thrown to honor the king's search for a new wife. There, Marcela finds herself seduced by a duchess's daughter in-law and attracts the devoted attention of Princess Primrose, who Marcela rescues from the dark, fae woods beyond the manor and who now wants Marcela for a mother.
But those woods hide worse things than beasts. The faeries whisper in Marcela's ears, and as she grows closer to the crown and further from her abusive mother, she discovers power beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. And power, Marcela soon learns, will always corrupt.

What colors do you want to see in your design?
I'm looking for something that reads fairy tale-like, and that has a sense of romance and darkness. The book tells the story of a woman (from childhood to her early 30's) who goes dark. The main character is Latina, so she has dark hair, dark eyes and her skin has a golden tan (this is a very important plot point and should be taken into account when using stock images, please).
The paperback will be 6''x9'', and it's at 620 pages approximately.
Nothing overly embellished font-wise, please.
