The Brink of Burnout
Tayeba Abdur-Rahman
Tayeba Abdur-Rahman is a Burnout Coach. She helps professional women on the brink of office-related burnout, recognise what’s happening and break the burn cycle, so that they can stop living for the weekend. From former Samaritan and pharmaceutical corporate worker to multi-passionate entrepreneur, Tayeba used to be a corporate employee but gave it up (after many episodes of burnout) to get married, half-emigrate to Singapore and live a laptop life. Now her office is wherever there’s WiFi and bubble tea.
Tayeba believes that it is possible for us to craft the life that we want, that feels...delicious to step into every morning. How? Using her intuitive blend of emotion coping strategies, resilience training, shame management and self-compassion skills.
Outside of coaching and motherhood commitments, she loves nothing more than learning how to play the bass guitar.
Tayeba lives in London and Singapore and can be found online at visionintermission.com

UK or US Professional women, 28 to 35 who are single, they don't have children yet. They are living outside of the family home and are career-minded to succeed and possibly thrive at work.
Have disposable income. They want to live a life that is fulfilled and engaged, makes use of the college education that they have attained so far, that ticks the boxes, makes mum and dad happy, but also makes themselves happy. Want to feel significant.
This book is a self-help survival guide to managing and preventing work-related burnout. The goal of this book is for readers to take back lost control of their work life right now, take back control of their body to regain energy and mental clarity and to help them enjoy the purpose-driven new life they create using the tips and tools in this book.
I want people to feel hopeful, potential and joyful, release when they see the book cover.
The imagery should make the reader feel as if they are waking up from a controlled trance where they are not living the life they imagined and their transition into creating a life where they are now in control of how they want to feel. They are unbounded and free, confident and assertive, full of self-compassion and potential
It’s very important that this book cover POPS when scrolled in the Amazon Kindle store, even as a small thumbnail. And also catches the eye as a physical book on a shelf. The cover needs to catch the eye, look very polished and very engaging/interesting. The cover needs to be able to convert into sales, rather than just look pretty.
The print size is 5”x 8” and spine will be approx 0.75”.
On the back cover I also need some space at the bottom, for the ISBN and my logo
Clear easy to read font for titles
Nothing that makes this look like a cheesy eBook
I don't really want to use matches or fire to represent burnout as it's a bit obvious and everyone uses that - I want this cover to pop on Amazon without being completely unrelated to the topic.
