How pstephens821 started their book cover journey
Who are you known as?
Crazy Good Grief
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The target audience is predominately women between the ages of 40-65 who have lost a loved one. I provide inspiration and healing messages to help people integrate the loss of a loved one. This book is designed to be a 'handbook' outlining behaviors and mindset shifts that will help a person heal from grief
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I need a book covered designed for a book that will go out as an ebook as well as being published.
Although the topic of the book is grief I don't want the cover to be dark and gloomy. I want something that inspires hope and a feeling of optimism. The title of the book is "From Grief to Growth: 5 Essential Elements of Action to Give Your Grief Purpose and Grow From Your Experience" I want the cover to feel like a handbook or field guide to going on an epic journey.
I would like it to be warm, inviting colors - turquoise, burnt red, plum purple, sage green - for example.
I just want to reiterate - I don't want this to feel like a gloomy, sad book on death and dying. I want it to inspire the reader to feel hopeful.
