Write and publish fictional books that illustrate problems and solutions within the U.S. political system.
What's your vision?
Book cover for a book entitled Re-Engineering Education: A Tale of Repairing American Schools. I am looking for any recommendations on a design. An idea for the image that I have is to have a frontal picture of an old broken down school building morphing into a new modern school building. However, I am looking for artistic input for different ideas.
I am pasting a copy of the text I want to put on the back cover of the book to give artists and idea of the content of my book: Re-Engineering Education is a fictional story that illustrates the obstacles and victories that can be had in reformation of the education system in America. Jeff Schuster weaves together a story that is engaging and highlights many of the problems with the American education system. He uses a colorful set of characters at the highest levels of the U.S. government who, despite their conniving ways, set in motion legislation that revolutionizes education for the foreseeable future. Instead of just echoing obvious problems, Schuster paints a clear vision on how things can change for the better. Bruce Kensington is the first Independent Party candidate to win the U.S. Presidency and has unique ideas on how to correct the American education system. Unfortunately, he must battle entrenched party politics and corrupting influences in the system to get what he wants. With no majority party in either chamber of congress, President Kensington must navigate the legislative and court systems to move his agenda forward. After he gets what he wants, he wonders if he has irreparably destroyed education when disappointing media stories highlight his grand mistake. If you struggle with why our education system has been failing despite the constant attention paid to it by politicians and bureaucrats, this story will help you think differently about our problems with education and experience some essential changes that can work.
