The Long Way Home
P. G. Peppers
P. G. Peppers lives in Georgia with his wife
Two friends go through trying circumstances: Gun fights, a cattle drive, breaking horses, A trip to another world-monsters, girls and guns.-A giant black bear-cannibal pygmies and a 44 slug to the big toe.
This first example is the one I want if you guys can swing it.--One scene in the book has a horse-paint bloodline-rearing up and stomping an indian sweat lodge. A cowboy-black hat vest six gun skinny guy and an Indian -black hair, sweatband feather, loin cloth stand by watching. they are in shock at the horses antics. thanks The two heroes in this story are a stereotype-A big six foot tall red headed cowboy tan hat and clothing, leather vest, quiet guy///His pal under six foot, black hat red flannel shirt low slung gun, black hair, thin and wiry. Another scene has the same cowboy dropping his gun and it fires when it hits the floor of the saloon and shoots the big old ugly outlaw before him in the foot-the outlaw is tall husky with bad teeth and black hair-he is half indian but dresses like a cowboy. Yet another scene that I think would make a great cover: The big red-headed cowboy comes up on three outlaws robbing a buckboard one is trying mistreat a woman and they have already shot her brother. Our hero shoots one of the outlaws with a buffalo rifle and runs them off.
