Chartmetric is a San Francisco Bay area (USA) music & tech startup company that provides music analytics SaaS tools to our customer base of music record labels, artists & their managers, creative agencies and anyone involved in the entertainment business, all over the world. It is a data visualization company that strives to make complicated data easy to understand so they can make better business decisions.
We are a B2B music & tech startup, so our logo should continue to symbolize data/tech, business intelligence & ease of use but also be visually engaging to acknowledge our dedication to the fun and hip entertainment industry. It should not be cute or cartoony, but it can definitely be edgy.
Our customers are music label executives (major and indie), live music talent agents, creative/branding agencies, music artists and their managers, song publishers and any line of business involving music.
Recent inspirations for us have been the new Slack logo & various Apple app logos, which we'd describe as: minimalist, no words, modern, youthful, geometric, soft corners/curves, round.
Update: we would like NO words in the logo.
We're looking for a brand/logo refresh, to coincide with new features, a new modern, sleek, clean landing page and explainer videos on our landing website. We love our current logo and don't want a total deviation: just a bold, creative take on it.
