About us
La Luz is a micro "unschool" in Denver, Colorado. Its primary focus is learning in community and learning through experiences. The first six weeks will be spent in the mountains and rivers. The target audience is middle and high school aged students and their parents who want a different kind of learning experience.

La Luz - means "the light" in English. A lightseeker, the general idea for a mascot, is one that seeks the truth and wisdom, obviously what we are going for in learning. I really like the idea of the lantern. I like the lantern incorporating the mountains, river, moon, etc. That being said, I’m definitely open to ideas on the type of logo that folks come up. And, I am attaching a two page exec summary (I do like the 4 bright colors here) and some logos from a friend. I like the last one (lantern) and the circular logo as well. Many thanks in advance for your help in launching this "unschool" idea! I totally appreciate your help!!!
