What's your vision?
Our company is publishing an Android App. We need a genuine, authentic Android App icon (it should look like a native android app). We currently have an iPhone app as well, you may use the iPhone App icon as a starting point if you'd like, however the iPhone icon is a bit too complex, and we don't want to repeat the name of our company in the icon. We need something simple. Attached are some concept drawings. You don't have to use those but are there as possible starting points. Another issue to keep in mind is that while our customers are mostly hi-rise buildings, we do also have many small buildings as our customers, so if you are going to use a building image, it should look somehow scale-less and generic, so it could represent both a large and a small building. Reinterpretations of our company logo are also welcome. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SKETCHES FOR IDEAS, STARTING POINTS Here's a link to our iPhone app page: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/buildinglink/id355921355?mt=8 This is our current public site, where you can see our current logo: http://www.buildinglink.com GUIDELINES: The icon should not repeat our company name. The icon should look like an Android app icon. It shuld be simple, satin (no-gloss), etc... The logo should follow google best practices for an Android app icon: http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/ui_guidelines/icon_design_launcher.html
