UPDATE: please only provide 7 icons from the list of 16 suggestions below. I made an error in the detail when posting, so to keep it fair for the designers who have started working on the icons, I have left the original list of 16 icons for the designers to choose from. I only require 7 for the contest!!!! Choose 7 from the original list of 16. Sorry for causing confusion ;-/. We will still be looking at a follow on project for a complete set. ORIGINAL We are looking for a set of new icons for a new "administrator console" we are launching. to begin with we are launching a contest to design 16 icons. we will work with the successful designer via a follow-on project through 99Designs to complete the full set of icons that we require. i am not sure how many we will require for the final set at this stage... Please go to our website (www.mimecast.com) to get a feel for the colors we use as well as the general look and feel of things....we have no other real requirement other than the icons do not need to be overly complex or 'busy'........and we want you to be creative! all icons are 16 x 16 for now, we would like icons for the below (i have added comments to each one to help describe where and how they are used): 1. Inbound emails used in a list view to denote an 'inbound' email 2. outbound emails used in a list view to denote an 'outbound' email 3. Secure/protected used in a list view to denote the protected or secure admin roles. Current icon is a 'key' 4. Has attachment Used in a list view of mails to denote if the email has attachments 5. Archived message Used in a list view to denote if a message has been moved to the mail archive 6. Recent message Used in a list view to denote if a message is recent and pending a commit a to the archive 7. Attachment blocked Used in a list view of attachment names to denote if the attachment has been blocked 8. Attachment linked Used in a list view of attachment names to denote if the attachment has been linked (used for over sized attachments) 9. Email queued for delivery Used in a list view of an email queue to denote an email that is waiting to be sent 10. Email delayed Used in a list view of an email queue to denote a delayed email…..been in queue over xx mins 11. Message held for spam Used in a list view of a 'quarantine' to denote that the message is held by a spam policy 12. Permitted sender Used in a list view of to denote an email address that has been "whitelisted" or 'permitted' 13. Blocked sender Used in a list view of to denote an email address that has been 'blocked' or 'blacklisted' 14. Service ok Used in a list view across various parts of the console to denote if a 'service' or 'connection to customer' is "good". Current icon is a simple green box 15. Service down Used in a list view across various parts of the console to denote if a 'service' or 'connection to customer' is "offline" or down. Current icon is a simple red box 16. Service unknown Used in a list view across various parts of the console to denote if a 'service' or 'connection to customer' is newly configured but not yet activated, state is unknown, . Current icon is a simple orange box
