We would like to have a custom 'Chat' icon to place on our websites. We currently have a generic pair of icons that signify if our Chat operators are either online or offline.
We would like a new set of Chat icons that are more attractive and can make use of our brand/logo/colors.
We want the chat icon to be be classy and attractive, but still stand out enough on multiple web pages so that the users can easily find the icon on each page. This means that it needs to be obvious that a user should click on the icon for help, and not be lost in the background of the page.
We have noticed that many good chat icons use a 'face' that typically looks like a phone operator. This can help easily identify the icon as being a 'chat' or 'help' icon. (We are not sure if a cartoon face would be best, or a photo-realistic face would be best. If a photo realistic face is used, we need to be sure that the photo is royalty free.)
If possible we would like the icon to make use of our logo/colors. It might be nice to have our logo faded into the icon like a watermark, or partially shown. Our logo does NOT have to be prominent.
We also notice that many chat icons use a small amount of animation to help draw the user's eye to the icon for help.
We are attaching our current logo artwork.
