We make awesome motivational games for companies. Our audience is basically everyone ages 15-65 that has a job.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are looking for a cartoon character set (10) for our newest mobile role-playing game based around American football (NFL). We need a male and a female football players at 5 different levels each (playground, varsity, college, pro, all-star) where each level is noticeably different. They need to be playful and fun and especially appeal to those that are NOT that excited about football. They start out like kids and by all-star level resemble the Hulk. They don't need to look realistic at all, but need to work when smaller than a 1cm when on a smartphone, as well as look good at 10 cm tall on the web.
As for style, we're looking for cartoon characters along the lines of Paper Mario. I've attached a concept picture to help understand what we're after with the 5 different levels.
-->Cute, silly, playful for early levels such as playground and varsity.
-->Ridiculous, silly, over-the-top at the highest level (All-Star).
College and Pro level, somewhere in between but distinctly different from the other levels.
There characters will eventually be animated for simple things like, running, sitting, passing, clapping, dancing, etc. They will also have numerous fun objects and pieces of clothing to equip in the game such as bunny ears and a batman costume (perhaps a future 99designs contest...).
The winner may be asked to help us develop a full character sprite set and/or other objects and clothing items.
