Cowboys and indians from outer space - 1to1 project follows

We need the depiction of an "outer space conquest" scene: a "space cowboy" is exploring a brave new world (a strange, rocky planet, clearly not Earth). On his side, an "indian guide" (a sort of typical native american in traditional costume, but in space) is showing him the way (following a path, or examining the marks).

As a style guide, we thought of an old 50s sci-fi book cover (marked black lines, strong shadows, few plain colors), but feel free to be inspired also by other means / periods. The important is: we want the illustration to immediately convey the idea of "exploration of a new territory with a friendly and dependable guide".

The illustration should be square (about 12x12 cm), and the main focus should be in the middle of it.

Please, *sketch your idea* before you go to the production phase: what we need to see first of all is the "space cowboy + space indian guide" couple. Then you could sketch the setting (surroundings, background, optional spaceship(s), etc.), and only later we will evaluate the colors and style.

The rationale behind the illustration is: with our support, our clients can discover new "worlds" (business ideas, new product lines) without the hassle of being "alone in hostile territory". With our help, new business is easier to explore, because we already know it, we've already been there.
