Serene
Productivity app for MacOS that helps creative people (writers, entrepreneurs, developers) focus better and get more work done.
I need two illustrations to be used on our website and marketing collateral.
Illustration 1: A distracting office environment
Our product helps people focus and eliminate distractions so this illustration is to show a dramatised version of the problem. I've attached a mockup idea of a person trying to get work done in an office but distracted by colleagues at a water cooler chatting, another colleague asking them to check something out and a delivery man knocking on the door. There's a magnified view of this workers' screen showing an overflowing inbox, Slack notifications, calendar notifications, and a browser showing 1,714 items on their to-do list(!) and tabs with YouTube cat videos and unread emails. We can be a bit tongue in cheek here - the point is to really dramatise the problem in a way that people will relate to. You can also put your own take on it but the point is to show the problem workers face with distractions.

Illustration 2: What happens when you click 'Go Serene'?
Our app solves distractions by blocking distracting apps, websites, playing focus music, setting a timer and putting your phone on silent when you click 'Go Serene'. We want an illustration to show this. I've attached an example of how this could be done, as well as some actual screenshots of the app in case you wanted to use components from there (e.g. the 'Go Serene' button in the illustration should somewhat resemble how it looks in the app).
Some ideas:
- One idea is to keep it really simple like the illustration attached where it's just a hand clicking a button and lines coming off it showing what happens. This could be static or a gif that starts with a button, then a hand clicking, then lines appearing etc.
- Another idea is to have a simplified screenshot of the app on a Macbook screen and show the lines coming off the app.
1. The images should have a transparent background and not be square. A good example of this are the illustrations here: http://foton.mikado-themes.com/app-presentation/ - they work regardless of background colour and fit nicely into the web page as they are 'cut out'.
2. The two illustrations should be in the same style as they'll be on the same page.
3. The images can either be static or you could make them a gif to show a time element e.g. phones pinging every few seconds and the constant barrage of distractions. It could also show a before/after scenario of before our product and after.
