How simonac started their infographic journey
Who are you known as?
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Story to tell in the infographic
Looking into how housing has changed and progressed in the last 50 years. This is the length of time that an EPDM rubber roof will last. I want to show people how much can and has changed over the course of 50 years, without the need to change your roof.
The infographic is not intended to be sales focused, more sutbly point to the benefits of rubber roofing and why it is the best choice.
Data to include in the infographic
All the information, including the full brief can be found in the attached document.
Elements to include in the infographic
The following is the brief for the task: (It can also be found at the bottom of the attached document)
Infographic to be on-brand - please use the client’s website as the basis for colours and fonts: https://www.rubber4roofs.co.uk/
Not so much of the orange and dark grey as these are being phased out in a reskin of the site
The graphic needs to be as visual as possible - wherever imagery can be used please do so. E.g. Notable Events section - use little icons/images for as many events as possible
Key stats and figures (e.g. amount of years or important numbers) should stand out in larger text / different colours etc.
Please include the sources somewhere near the bottom of the page in a small font
Company logo also be used on the graphic wherever it fits best - please take this from the website for now
Graphic will primarily go on the blog - width is approx. 690 pixels no limit on the height
The graphic should have several clear sections: Supply & Demand, Popular Fashion & Changes, Finances, Notable Events
Ideally looking for the Notable Events section to be in some sort of timeline
Potential for the Popular Fashion & Changes section to have an image of a house and the information surrounding it
I'm looking for this to be visual and on brand, without looking too cluttered.
I've attached a copy of the new homepage design that will be used to give you an idea of the brand.
