Story to tell in the infographic
This infographic is to be a top of funnel piece aimed at our small business owners to educate them on statistics surrounding cyber attacks on small businesses, and then how to protect themselves. Unfortunately, most SMBs mistakenly assume that hackers target large corporations for a big payday when in reality, over half of all attacks are aimed at SMBs (they just don't make the news). This means a lot of SMBs are woefully unprepared for an attack. This infographic should inform the audience on statics around SMB attacks, the biggest threat which is their own users and how to educate them on online safety, and finally, best technology protection practices. I want stats and data sprinkled throughout to support the sections (I did my best to put somein there)
Data to include in the infographic
View the attached 'MyITPros Small Business CyberSecurity Infographic.docx' document for a text breakdown of how the infographic should flow with all relevant text and data points. The starred data points are optional
Elements to include in the infographic
The sources need to be listed at the bottom in very tiny print and our logo should be in one of the bottom corners (attached).
In terms of orientation, vertical is preferred but not required. If you have a great idea that works better horizontally I am open to that. There are no specific requirements in terms of size.
I am looking for an eye catching overall theme, both in colors and in graphic representation. I've attached a sample infographic I liked, but I definitely want a cohesive color scheme and it would be great if someone could take an almost metaphor approach to it, ie, using a house as the layout structure with burglars to represent a business under attack, etc. Note: That is a very rudimentary example :)
