Applications and Infrastructure
We are a niche IT company specialising in short-term contracts for building software and deploying systems. Our target customers are government departments (primarily Defence/Intelligence) and large IT services companies (e.g. Google, Facebook, Twitter, IBM, HP, CSC, Lockheed Martin, etc).
Black, gray. Happy to see tasteful use of high intensity colours (blue/red/orange/green)
We're after a clean, sharp, minimalistic logo. Our customer base expects professionalism and very high quality services from us. We want to capture this sentiment but we would also like the logo to try and capture the modern start-up feel of our organisation.
Please have a look at our website (http://www.brightsparklabs.com) to gain an idea of the brand image we are trying to portray. The new logo will replace the current logo in the top left corner.
A number of example logos from other organisations that we like are listed at: http://www.brightsparklabs.com/logo.html. Please have a look at these to influence your design.
We'd prefer if the logo image would be to the left of the text, rather than above it as we'd like to keep our navbar tight height-wise.
It is NOT essential that our tagline "Applications and Infrastructure" be included in the design. A design which includes it in a manner that allows it to be removed easily would be ideal as it would suit circumstances when the tagline is not necessary.
Some things to keep in mind:
- we're really focused on clean and sharp. Think Swiss banking.
- in regards to fonts, we really like the following fonts in the example logos above:
-- BARNFILMS
-- Pause House
-- panda
-- Frankenstein Films
We are not wedded to our current color scheme on the website. However, we would like to keep changes to the website to a minimum to suit the logo if possible. The current fonts used on website are:
Merriweather (current logo):
