~Think irreverent, not 'fun'.
~Think sophisticated, not uptight.
~Think 'the best taste in town' ...and I'm cooler than you. ;)
We need a business card (front and back) and a logo with word mark and pictographic mark. We need to be able to show both independently and still have people think "LCD". I'd like a logo, don't laugh at me, like these: http://www.hipsterbusiness.name/
I'd like the little graphics in the 'X' to be these:
-Top: Palm Tree image.
-Bottom: 'Three Crosses' calvary emblem.
-I want a bold san-serif font, with ".Design" in a noticably bigger font than "Las Cruces", and be sure to include period before 'Design', as our domain is lascruces.design.
-I'll probably use these guys (https://www.moo.com/ca/products/let…cards.html) and get that engraved/Letterpress finish, so I want this stuff crisp! :)
Business card sizing for Letterpress
Final artwork size 88mm x 59mm
3.46” x 2.32”
Business Card-Front & Back: Art should go almost all the way (Final art size 84mm x 55mm, 3.30” x 2.16”), with a nice inner padding around box. Back should be same background and graphic color. Front should be off-white with no images. Use UPPERCASES for words on Front of Business Card and make the text block ~90% of card-front.
-Since this is a portrait layout, I want to vertically stack the contact information on the front of the card in that same fontface (justified-alignment and adjusted with boldness and font size to make it fit width):
