Great to work with, very patient. I got sick near the end of the job and was traveling internationally but was still able to work with them to get everything our company needed. Would definitely recommend.

Alternote is a platform for classroom conversation. We're working on a product that allows students to enter classroom networks that create conversations around course content during lectures to make learning a more enriching and engaging experience.

the mockup attached is a general (but not near complete) sense of what the product might look like. it's going to be much more thoroughly hashed out, but what's evident is that i'm going for a very simplistic, clean cut look that keeps everything beautiful but functional. the current logo (seen at http://alternote.com) works with a heavy serif font that kills the clean and simple look of the product, so i'm looking to reevaluate that. this is particularly because the product is for college students to use in the classroom, so it's needs to be attractive but also maintain the weight required of a product in the classroom.
i'm really interested in monoline or pencil designs, but i'm open to different ideas. if you would like the chat about this before creating something, don't hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
