Loved the simplicity of the logo design. Too many logos these days are over complex
Our winning designer provided several attractive designs and was good at communicating through the process. Thank you!

meditations while battling cancer
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This is a blog about battling cancer, see http://www.chemolog.com/. There are 2 focus points: meditative aspects, and thinking through hard medical problems. The audience is smart, sophisticated (many in tech in SF) as well as folks going through cancer. The target audience is 3 types: 1) hip tech/molecular biology types, age 30-55, 2) folks battling cancer themselves, think 55+ years old, 3) care takers of parents going through cancer 30-55 years old.

This feels classic yet is graphic in feel. Really like this one.
graphic and sophisticated. This is fantastic.
There's a few themes that I find interesting for this logo:
genetics (bar-code like), chemo bag, intravenous infusion/syringe. The brand is going for sophisticated, empowered and smart, reflecting the audience. This is about battling cancer so there's a spiritual/meditative component mixed with molecular biology. Hope that helps and looking forward to seeing some great designs. Attaching a quick set of doodles but don't get married to any of those.
