d_zine was awesome. Great authentic original design. While others played with creative ways to use the initials of our company, d_zine created an icon. d_zine was also one of the more responsive tweakers to our requests. He won because the Logo evolved as we gave feedback, and therefore deservingly. Thank you d_zine, Cheers.
fantastic job as always. thanks
Orinta matched the brief beautifully with several versions to choose from and was always prompt in revisions and communications. A pleasure to work with.

This is a social enterprise that delivers a suite of conferences and workshops for children from the age of 10yrs until they are 12years old. The mission of these learning sessions is to develop children's aspirations, values and awareness around three key areas: 1. Leadership (making good choices, being responsible, having confidence) 2. Career opportunities and 3. Looking after our people and planet. Sessions will be in great venues, great speakers with interactive group activities and challenges - and lots of fun. They will understand how organisations work and what work opportunities are there for them all. They will understand and experience how making good decisions in those roles will make a difference to our world. If they decide to build something, how will they continue to build when resources run out? If they decide to create a new medicine, what will happen if they price it so highly that half the world cannot afford it? What incredible innovations are happening right now to make a difference to our environment? The conferences will host around 100 children - from all types of schools in their first year (when they are 10yrs old), they will return for another conference when they are 11yrs old to build on the themes they have explored. They will come together for the last time in school-based workshops when they are 12yrs old in secondary school and start to really focus on careers and sustainability.
These sessions will be free to schools and parents. Epic Steps will be funded and sponsored externally through grant funding and through corporate sponsorship.
The goal is for children to have increased self-confidence, awareness of the wealth of choice they have for their careers and strong social responsibility values and knowledge.

This logo should appeal to headteachers, corporate sponsors and 10-12yr old children. Something clever, smart, somewhat sophisticated for such a wide target audience, different, eyecatching, powerful. Children are the most important target of this stakeholder group and graphics should appeal to this age.
It is OK to use Epic Steps, epic steps, EPIC STEPS - or any variation!
What is appealing to me so far is the clever use of steps, a globe and a child figure(s), wrapped in an original way with the words Epic Steps. My favourite designs are those which cleverly and originally combine these elements. Vibrant colours in purple, rich yellow/orange and green are best.
