it is a system designed to send messages. the messages are encrypted so the logo could incorporate something to do with security or encryption. However, standard iconography like locks, safes, keys, etc might be a bit overdone. the 'safe' part of the name implies a message that is 'safe' from prying eyes, 'safe' as it rests on your computer, 'safe' in the sense of security. the 'post' part of the name represents a message, the act of sending ('posting') a message, the concept of the 'post' as in postal service. This is NOT email so traditional email iconography such as envelopes etc might not be ideal. What I would like to avoid is something obvious such as an envelope and a lock.
the sample attached file shows a section of the current interface with a BAD placeholder logo/identity. There will be another page that will show the logo full size.
