I'm open to the interpretation of Six - it could be spelled as a word or used as a number. The inspiration here is Toronto's area code (416) - and the recent rise of "the six" to refer to Toronto (often in song's by rapper Drake).
Other inspirations here could be the We The North campaign run by the Toronto Raptors - as the goal here is the build a venture capital firm specifically for Toronto-based entrepreneurs (likely millennials between 20-35 years old).
The brand sentiment should communicate with that objective: forward thinking, modern, yet professional.
Toronto landmarks (CN Tower) and/or Canadian references (Maple Leaf) could also be interesting to incorporate (assuming it's not overdone/tacky).
I chose the colour palettes of Blue (most sports teams in Toronto are Blue - Maple Leafs, Argos, Blue Jays), Red (colour of Canadian flag), and Green (growth, technology, etc.) because each has a unique angle relevant to the logo. I do not expect all colours to be used - just options/ideas. I also mentioned Black & Gold since the Toronto Raptors alternative jersey has those two colours - and it's currently popularized by rapper Drake (Toronto-based).
If you're looking for inspiration, here are sets of possibly relevant images / logos that could be stylized as part of logo:
