The name is inspired by "batou" from "Ghost in the Shell".

I love the batou original artwork from the movie, but I absolutely want to stay in the clear regarding copyright. If I can get something incorporating batou's basic features, that would be nice.
Update: as an open source project, we have to be careful with being friendly to newcomers. batou's character is quite dark and strong, but he's also passionate for the people he cares for. This is hard to get right, but we need to balance him being friendly but tough.
