Our company name is "Desert Tech" and we manufacture firearms. Our slogan is "Tomorrows Weapons". We are looking for a tech style logo with insignia that says Futuristic Weapon Technologies (more heavily weighted to the tech side than the weapons side but maintain a defense feel).
The logo and insignia needs to be simple, clean, and clear. The logo can utilize one to three colors with some depth but not much 3D depth because we must have the option to have the logo all blacked out or all whited out so that it can be laser engraved on our products and single color embroidered on our apparel. It would be best to avoid very finely detailed features that would blend together on small samples of it.
The insignia would be best as some type of stencil avoiding multiple layers that would look good whether engraved in 1/2" size or embroidered or printed on a shirts and hats. The insignia could possibly be one of the letters or as a separate object that could stand alone as our symbol. If the insignia is a letter then we would still want the option to use the Insignia all by itself as a symbol that represents our company, like apple's apple, or under armours UH, or Oakley's O, etc... The insignia can be a really cool object or initials or anything in between. One idea we had for the insignia was to make a stencil of an eye looking through a crosshair but more tech looking the eye looking.
We would like the option to use the logo with and without our slogan but if we include the slogan it will be more subtle as to not distract from the logo.

I did not specify colors or values because I did not want to limit the vision that the artists had in their minds from reading my description.
