Logo types to explore
1) This is a lifestyle brand, much like Martha Stewart. The logo should reflect sleek, elegant, simple, classic design - very clean. I think of Tory Burch's logo as a perfect example of what we're going for: the use of her name, but also a lovely design element that can be free-standing without her name. See the logos above for a few examples of hers. 2) You can get a feel for the "mood" of the company by visiting www.shylanelson.com. 3) Ideally the logo would have an image as well which could be used to brand our educational programs - so any image might incorporate just my initials (SN). I believe the best shape for that is round - like a stamp or elegant watermark. I'd also like to see the same round image without my initials as a free-standing design. 4) My all-time favorite website right now is www.harrys.com - to give you a sense of the clean aesthetic we're looking for.
