Logo types to explore
Cleaves of London is looking for a traditional crest to be used above the name on promotional materials and clothing labels. The logo needs to be fairly detailed yet simple enough to be shrunk down to a 2cm x 2cm size for the clothing labels. The logo will only ever be printed in gold and can include several layers as is most likely to feature through die stamped printing methods. Similar crests that we like include the house of commons crest, royal crest etc. Other logos we like include the St Regis (hotel chain) logo, which is more simple but still remains elegant. The main purpose of the crest is to help the brand appear more established and luxurious - the logo is NOT to appear modern or amusing. At present the brand does not have a slogan or tag line - this may develop through the logo so ideas are welcome but are in no way essential. Underneath the crest will be the company name 'Cleaves' in a simple capitalised text, and in smaller text centralised underneath that will be 'London' (Logos do not need to include the text as we are pretty certain of this already - but font and layout suggestions are welcome with the logo.) Thank you and we look forward to viewing the designs!
