aaronwright987 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design an inspiring logo for the next big thing in education - Lernabit.com
Check out aaronwright987's Logo design contest…
Lernabit allows people to create and share mini-lectures while supporting charities. So let's say you are studying for an exam. You can create a lecture to reinforce your own understanding of the topic. Then others can listen to it a learn from it. You learn by teaching others. Then we give a portion of our revenue to charities. At a more abstract level, Lernabit is about bringing people together through education by providing a platform for them to easily teach each other. The target audience is liberal-leaning millennials, many of whom have at least college or even grad school education. Many have expressed interest in science and technology topics. Other info that might be useful: - "Lern" is derived from the Esperanto word for "learn". Esperanto is/was an attempt to unite people through language, Lernabit is about unity through education. - The "bit" part of the name comes from the fact that the lectures are all very short, no more than 10 minutes. - The lectures are all in audio format. This makes them easier to create and easier for busy people to learn from them. - The site is currently in beta, but please don't include the "beta" tag in the logo.
