Design logo and brand identity for innovative EdTech consulting organization
Check out mysharpley's Logo design contest…
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We provide consulting services and help with building new businesses/products/services to education providers (school districts, charter schools, colleges, others) and related stakeholders in the education ecosystem (e.g. foundations, investors, corporations, accelerators/incubators and EdTech entrepreneurs) to help them innovate, navigate this fast changing industry, adopt new technologies and deliver superior outcomes for students, teachers and others in this space (education industry)
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
While we operate in the education community / industry, we would like to stay away from overused education symbols (eg apples, schools, rulers, etc) as the population that we serve is much more diverse. Ideally we can pick up on the dragonfly symbol, the word dragonfly and the family it belongs to, Odonata, have evolved from myths associated with dragonflies. In particular as a totem for: change, water, going beyond what's on the surface and looking into the deeper implications, uninhibited vision; agility and speed; power and poise; age and maturity; simplicity, effectiveness, elegance and grace (see attachment). But please stay away from "new-age" feel and representation. Instead think - education technology, innovation, strategic insights are the focus of the company.

Lydia is a fantastic designer and partner. Here are just a few reasons I loved working with her to design a new logo:
1. Beautiful Design Work
2. Extremely responsive (quick and accurate)
3. Clear/easy communication (understood all direction, asked relevant questions)
4. Went above and beyond by creating a summary of the new logo design elements
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
