kola O got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a logo for an educational research project
Check out kola O's Logo design contest…
KOLA is a german research project trying to introduce mobile learning in the german apprenticeship system. The name is an acronym for "competency-based learning in the work process with digital media" We will use mobile devices (cellphones, tablets) to accompany apprentices in their work process and during classroom lessons, transforming those black box activities into transparent processes open to reflection and feedback from teachers, supervisors and peers. The platform will stimulate networking between its users, granting insights into each other's work processes and bridging the gaps between the roles that form the german apprenticeship system: apprentices, teachers, experienced professionals and public authorities. That enables everyone to act self dependent and self-organized and to cooperate towards creating an improved educational experience. Closer cooperation will also reduce friction and allow all participants to see eye to eye, creating spaces for improvement and innovation.
Logo types to explore
The logo has to be clearly reproducible with less than an inch height in print and on screen. Vector format is strongly preferred. Any included text should be typeset in easily available fonts that are free for commercial use or are included in common software. The example logo repesents the german chambers of trades and crafts and its form may feature as an element, but this is not mandatory.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at ¥32,199.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
