taoliu got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a logo with illustration of a bear for KUMA sushi bar in Finland!
Check out taoliu's Logo design contest…
We are a sushi bar in Finland, located in a shopping mall. We serve a large variety of sushi with some Asian wok dishes in a buffet style (this concept is getting really popular in Finland, whereas conveyer belt sushi is non-existent), as well as Japanese snacks such as gyoza and sushi sets. Our main customer group would be lunchtime guests and families on weekends.
¨Kuma¨ means bear in Japanese, and bear is the symbol of our city Pori. We'd like this logo to be designed by a designer with Japanese origin or has lived in Japan. In the logo, we expect to see the drawing of a bear, and some element of Japanese style brush strokes. Alternatively, it could be the illustration of (part of) a bear with a salmon/fish in its mouth, or with a nigiri sushi (held by chopsticks maybe?). The Japanese character of bear is 熊, but it doesn't necessarily have to be integrated into the logo. I include here our city slogan image and some Japanese logos that we like.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at ¥32,199.
