Class A Drivers (classadrivers.com) is one of the leading recruiting boards for truck drivers. We mainly aim to match new truck drivers to their first trucking company. The logo currently reads "CAD" and we'd like to move away from the acronym and the new logo will eventually just have to read "Class A Drivers".
It is estimated that truck drivers are responsible for moving 5-10% of the GDP of the USA and that the whole economy could grow at a much faster rate if more truck drivers joined the industry.
Our target audience is the new truck driver entering the industry (21 - 35 years old), who are willing to embrace being on the road for 5 days or more at a time. It's a lonely work and truck driving is a lifestyle.
What are the advantages? Truck driving is blue collar work that still pays a middle class salary (ex: an Over the Road driver may be making between $70k and 100k/year; a regional driver $50-$80/year, depending on years of experience). It offers an opportunity to extensively travel the USA.
What are the cons? Truck drivers used to earn more and they are solely responsible to deliver valuable loads on time, despite driving conditions have worsened (road/infrastructure are old and not well maintained, car drivers [4 wheelers] are a hazard as they tend to drive while distracted by their cell phones)
Only 3-5% of the trucking population are women. A predominant amount of truckers are coming from the military.
The logo will be used on our website (desktop, tablet and mobile version) as well as a number of sales brochures and material that we usually share w/ our customers. Thank you for your attention!
