**END UPDATE 3**
I've uploaded some examples that I've come up with myself. Note please the focus on *subtlety*. It should not be an aggressive M. I would rate all the ones I uploaded 4 stars, I think they can all be improved to be cleaner and communicate better that they can be clicked to start chatting to a support person.
**END UPDATE 2**
Just wanted to add some clarity since we're getting a lot of designs that are not in the direction that we want. The icon should primarily scream "click here to talk to a support person". Secondarily, it should have a very subtle mark that lets people distinguish it among the many other chat interfaces. Having a big "M" in the middle is not subtle, and it takes away from the primary goal of screaming "click here to talk to a support person". Having an icon like a "face", "envelope", etc, or feelings of "happiness" and "helpfulness" with a disguised m are more appropriate because they don't take away from the primary goal. Please take a look at some of the 4-rated designs to see examples of what we mean.
Moment is a support and CRM product that allows customers to chat to businesses directly on the businesses' websites. It also provides the ability for businesses to go back through their history with customers and pinpoint the exact "moment" that a customer was convinced to buy or turned off the product because of a good/poor experience.
The logo (or something very close to the logo) will be used as the chat icon on the bottom right or left of a website. It should communicate to customers that it can be used when they need help and be immediately identifiable and unique among all the other chat widgets that exist. It would be great if there was something akin to a "fedex arrow" that is subtle, but you can't unsee once you've seen it. Most of Moment's customers will not want an obnoxious logo on their site, so the logo should be subtle.
