Accounting & Financial
FPPad is a technology consulting firm to financial advisors. FPPad.com is a blog where advisors can read the latest news about technology products and contact Bill for his consulting, writing, and speaking services.
Logo types to explore
*Including a favicon (32x32 or 48x48) and an icon for iOS (114x114) will add lots of value to your submission.* "FP" stands for Financial Planning, "Pad" is a reference to my days as a software engineer at LeapFrog Toys where I helped create software for the LeapPad Learning System. FPPad preceded iPad by about a year. I'd like the logo to relate in some way to technology along the lines of the Web 2.0 style logos. Shading, shadows, and 3D perspective are traits I'd like to see. FPPad is the source for technology insights in the financial planning community. Target audience includes visitors to FPPad.com (seeking tech information in the financial planning industry), attendees of my speaking engagements (logo will be included in slide decks), viewers of YouTube content, and readers of upcoming eBooks. Demographics are primarily financial advisors, but anyone interested in technology and how it can improve productivity when managing finances or investment portfolios will benefit from information on FPPad.com. Logo use will be on the top banner of FPPad.com (currently plain text, banner dimensions might be up to 960x120, but that's not exact and I don't think it needs to be exact), on business cards, in slide deck templates, eBooks, and included in YouTube video content. Will likely need a transparent background so the logo can easily be included a variety of content, to take that into consideration when thinking about contrast and colors when inserted over other media. I don't think I want the .com in the logo. That seems so 1999.
