Who are you known as?
DevOps Days Austin
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
DevOps Days Austin is a conference in Austin that happens every year to help spread the philosophy of DevOps. DevOps is Developers (dev) and Operation Engineers (ops) coming together under a common banner--devops. Our audience is composed of software engineers, open source developers and other professional computer engineering staff. DevOps Days Austin is a community driven conference and functions almost like a non-profit in that the tickets are low cost and we emphasize doing good in our community over making money.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
DevOps Days events happen all around the globe and each city creates their own brand. We need a logo for Austin. It is important to us to maintain some unity with devops days at large but feel free to be creative with that. DevOps Days Austin has a "mascot" which is a calavera skull (attached) and we need a logo that can incorporate it but that can also stand on its own.
To be clear, we want an Austin-specific treatment that aligns with the global brand and can be used with/without our mascot on websites, signage, cards, shirts, etc
We really like the 'PRIZAMPED' style and a logo in that style incorporating the calavera mascot and/or gears would be a good place to start. Here is a screenshot of the PRIZAMPED logo > https://www.dropbox.com/s/rz4ktf9ov…1.png?dl=0
What we dont want:
- Something too serious
- Anything with the Austin city skyline
