Our firm is not as straight-laced as the "stuffy" accountant image, but not as relaxed / alternative as the trendy design agency offices.
We are very serious about our work, but our accountants have a personality, like to have fun, and are not the typical "boring" accountants, yet are still the modern professional.
We are looking to communicate the modern direction the firm is taking, and the fact that we are up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations. We also need to communicate professionalism, as our accountants are all highly qualified and educated.
We are no longer using ARM as an acronym for the company, so we do not want initials (ARM), instead we want to have our name IN FULL on all branding (people used to find the fact it spells arm confusing).
We also feel that the font type used in the logo is a bit out-dated, and the logo itself caused confusion in being mistaken for ARN not "m:".
The website will be clean, simple, modern. A good reference point would be http://proctormajor.com.au/ for the kind of overall feel we are going for as opposed to something like Pitcher Partners, whose website is bland, and not what we want.
