What we DO want:
-- modern, clean, simple, colorful
-- our complete URL in the logo (Business-Software.com), and on one line. Don't break it up and put ".com" above or below "Business-Software."
-- something that evokes the professional/business world since our site is centered around business software

What we DON'T want:
-- NO abbreviations of Business-Software.com; it abbreviates to BS
-- NO red colors
-- NO designs based on our current site; it's going to be redesigned completely in the next few months

This is our company's flagship site, so we really need something that's high quality and appeals to business professionals. Our target audience is people searching for software systems for their company, so a professional-looking site and logo is extremely important. At the same time, our business is entirely online, so a modern, Web 2.0 feeling to the logo also needs to be incorporated.

The main purpose of our site is to provide information, so if you could provide us with as many visual representations of information that you can come up with, that would be great.

Also, we need this logo to work both as a completely linear logo, as well as a rectangular one. For example, the image you come up with needs to look good positioned both above and right next to the website name. We need it to be a long, horizontal logo as the home page header, but also be able to convert to a more rectangular logo for when we put it on our reports or in banner ads.
