About us

Surry Online Magnet School is a fully online, flexible, personalized, mastery-based public school, focused on students in grades K through 12. We cater to the independent and self-driven student with a growth-mindset and multiple interests. Our core values are building supportive relationships, providing flexible learning opportunities, through personalization. We are located in the foothills of North Carolina in the USA.

Our mascot is the trailblazer, though we have a broad understanding of what that COULD mean. This school was launched this fall. We have a team of seven dedicated teachers and an innovative principal. 190 pioneering students and their families have joined our team. Our students choose a personal pathway through their learning experience.

Designed this logo for developer creating math games in order to simplify learning math. His surname is Berry so naturally I played with berry theme and integrated abacus within to tie math aspect as well. Was really happy with results however client decided not to go with it as its to traditional approach as opposed to using modern ios and android apps.
