This is a re-election campaign for the Kentucky Court of Appeals. The race is a non-partisan race.
The attached logo is actually the direction in which the campaign is leaning right now, although it could use some professional touches to really make it pop. Nonetheless, we would also like to see some original work from some creative folks.
Please try to incorporate one or more of the following concepts into the design: freedom, justice, liberty, fairness, family values or experience.
Believe it or not, there is a little bit of an art to creating the perfect campaign logo. See http://www.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/06…index.html This honors thesis also does a good job of explaining it http://polisci.indiana.edu/undergra…Ditsch.pdf If you don't read the articles or papers, the biggest take away is 1) use serif fonts; 2) red, white and blue are best; and 3) incorporate stars.
But remember, the goal is 1) visibility (think about how it would look from far away on a yard sign; 2) creating name identification; 3) engendering a feeling of goodwill; and 4) making sure that the voters realize that they are voting to keep an experienced judge in office.
