I need a new logo for a software application. The application is similar to apple's launch pad. It's an application launcher. You click it, and it shows a grid of applications. The user selects the application, and AppPad launches the selected app. I don't have any ideas, and will play off your creativity.

Stay away from copying apple's logo.
Not sure how to visualize this, but when I envision the app, I thought of pad, as in a house, and app pad being the place where they all chill.
