Captured our client's very detailed, yet very vague description of what they needed in a new logo perfectly!
Lela Was amazing to work with. I am so chuffed with my logo & cannot wait to start using it. Even right down to my fussy tweaks of colour she made it work.
Very professional and easy to work with. He took the time to really listen to what I was looking for.

Who are you known as?
New World Communications
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Telecommunications and technology consulting firm. They help major corporations and oil&gas companies source/find providers to meet an objective (new tech, better cost). C-level selling: CFO, CIO, CTO, CEO. When telecom became deregulated the prices/ companies got out of control= multitude of choice creates chaos. Also, with the data explosion, Telecom is now merged with IT. NWC becomes an extension of the IT department. NWC is hired to do the vetting process for providers. They compare the products/ prices, negotiate, redline contract, handle the paperwork setup, management, troubleshooting, changes. Biggest issue is that the client perceives NWC as a telecom agent/broker. Out of all the telecom agents in the country there is less than .05% that do what NWC does.
For Wireless corporate accounts they typically reduce cost 15-50% w/out changing carriers (using historical data and usage patterns to get new rates). All of this comes at no cost to the company, NWC only gets a percentage off the savings they have made for the company.
They also offer non-wireless products where they act as an offline agent for all providers. In this instance they are paid a referral fee by the provider, so NWC waives their fee to the client.
They offer three main solutions:
1. Network- traditional telecom/ servers/ Voip, etc
2. Cloud- wireless telecom
3. Mobility- wireless cellular

Alternate Accent FF4000 (show this as a second option altogether, it wouldn't be another accent choice)

Likes symmetrical wording- Emphasis on New World, "stack" New World on top of Communications in a rectangle shape with very modern font
Icons- globe/ arching- to show "world": Encompassing the world with technology (Its a new world, can't use old world technology)- doesn't want a full globe, just a partial globe that would give the mind an impression of a globe/ the world- like an modern art deco- navy and gray main two colors, lots of white space, orange as a very subtle pop- likes simplicity and symmetry.
Attached logos for inspiration:
K Communications- They like the "K" as negative space inside the globe. Would be interested to see "NWC" inside a globe type shape if it would look good
Evobit- like the icon and stacked company name to the left
Techi- like the "t" as negative space inside a globe
Netsuite- like color blocks surround the letter as negative space
Assist- like the company name, empahsis on Assist. Also like the "idea" of a cornerstone/box shape but not necessarily the entire shape
