Satire videos and books - e.g. on how to fail in school and life. Parody, funny, satirical. Antithesis to ‘How to Succeed.’ Spoof, but done in a serious manner. Target audience: Millennials in India. The first such ‘How To Fail’ product is ‘How To Fail CBSE’ - a book that is a satire on how to fail high school (CBSE is High School in India. Pl invent a logotype for it if you wish). The main brand is ‘How To Fail,’ and right now I’m looking for a design for the book title, ‘How To Fail CBSE’ as shown in the attachment.
The branding ‘How To Fail’ will go on books and online. Here’s what a designer attempted (attached) - Upper lower or all caps is fine. The book title done by the designer is emotive (good) but more in the horror category that in the fun category of ‘What Me Worry even though I’m not a success.’ In the last logo in that sheet FYI I like the typewriter typeface chosen for Job Interviews. Right now I’m looking for the Book Title, ‘How To Fail CBSE.’ To summarise, I’m looking for emotive lettering, ‘How To Fail,’ that communicates an attitude that success does not matter but fun does. This is for the title of the book cover as shown in the attachment in the brief. The Character (guy) is final. IT’S THE BOOK TITLE THAT I WANT DESIGNED: How To Fail CBSE. The main brand is How To Fail. The sub-product (in this case the book) is CBSE. (That’s what we call High School in India).
