UPDATE* 4/17 Hello I've talked to some key decision makers and they feel like some key points need to be addressed. the designs are lacking some key factors, they are actually way to simple and not eye catching enough, wed like everyone to boost up there creative abilities to make the most Bold and iconic design possible for the logo. think BIG UPDATE* 4/15 We love seeing concept stories alongside your entries. While some have strong conceptual ideas, they aren't as immediately striking or understandable as we'd like. Simplicity is key! Match22.com is a Connection focused social networking service. The name was derived from the Phrase "Catch22". Which is defined as a paradoxical situation from which an individual cannot escape because of contradictory rules. Fore example: To apply for a job, you need to have a few years of experience. But in order to gain experience, you need to get a job first. Catch-22s often result from rules, regulations, or procedures that an individual is subject to but has no control over because to fight the rule is to accept it. Which to me is basically Growth and connection. The Demographic We are targeting is Everyone who Personifies the New Age from every culture. Cutting Edge Guys and Gals that are talented yet so free spirited and are eager to meet other free spirited people. WE WANT A LOGO THAT REPRESENT GROWTH AND CONNECTION WITH OTHER HUMANS. . We need a Match22 logo for our website as well as a simplified logo for our apps where you could dumb it down to m22 instead of writing the whole match22. Kind of like match.com, their app logo is just an m. We want to have a logo that DOESNT COMPETE WITH OTHER SOCIAL CONNECTION SITES BUT INNOVATES AS GO WE GROW. Contest is Guaranteed and will be blind ASAP. We have a dynamic user functionality platform that allows our users to interact in the most creative ways at Match22.com. Here's some more info on how we visualize our Logo The logo design MUST be: - Culturally sensitive: The logo must work across different cultures around the world. - 100% new and original Bonus points: - Strong rationale: Prove how your design communicates what our brand is and its personality - Make use of negative space to make logo unique - Design principles: Prove how your design was carefully designed using the golden ratio, cleverly uses negative space, versatile in applications etc. Our brand personality is: - Charismatic - Fun/Entertaining - Unique and a Little Controversial - Authentic - Witty - Passionate - Friendly - Risk-taking - Confident We really want our brand personality to shine through.
