Painting company in need of logo that doesnt look exactly like every other painting company.

I am a primarily residential-light commercial home maintenance business. I specialize in interior and exterior painting but offer a variety of other services like carpentry and handyman services. My typical customer/target audience is homeowners of all ages typically in more trendy affluent areas of Columbus, OH.

I'd like to explore the following colors:

Aquas: Empathy, compassion, clarity and precision.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.

I use Sherwin Williams brand products and I am a fan of their advertising. If possible take a look at Sherwin Williams ads that incorporate paint swatches to create the environments http://www.sherwin-williams.com/hom…ation/ads/.

I would like to stay away from stereotypical paint logos i.e. roller covers, brushes, paint can, etc. but would like my logo to creatively identify with my industry. I have a black cargo trailer that I will be putting the logo on so I would like it to be vivid enough to show up anywhere. I will be using the logo on business cards, t shirts and on yard signs. I will also be using it on a Facebook page. My current logo is difficult to read when it gets dark out and I would like it to be very visible.
