Sevenless is an personal, experimental webservice I'm launching. This will include a
A dark themed, personal website where I'll rant pretty on whatever comes to mind. Likely topics could be philosophy, programming, hacking, digital design, DIY, pop-sci, personal growth, drugs, etc. This site will host many small projects, such as a proof of concept or an example implementation of some API.
Sevenless also hosts a custom Minecraft world, with the same name. This modded server runs a harsh world, where players compete rather than cooperate PVP style, using tools such as nuclear missiles, particle accelerators, mechanical contraptions, and many other sci(-fi) themed additions to defeat their rivals.
Much like the word's literal meaning ("Without seven"), I want the image to reflect the natural question that follows, which is "What does that mean?"
The ideal logo would somehow invoke the question of "What is...?" through mystery while representing the absence of the numeral "7", or perhaps it's present decay or vanishing. I enjoyed the attached image, though I'm not sure if burning is the best way to show "the lack of seven".
