Our company sells clothing, accessories and general apparel. Currently the target market is athletic in nature but may evolve into standard areas of fashion or even consumer goods and products. In the periodic table of elements, the symbol for "Iron" is "Fe". Thus, at her chemical and atomic level, a "Fe-Male" is actually an iron man. The concept of the logo is to empower women with a mindset of strength, courage and conviction in whatever they do. The target market is yet to be fully determined, but could potentially be all women 18-65: - The workout fanatic that wants to strengthen herself physically - The working mom that is balancing family with 60+ hours of work - The breast cancer patient that is getting treatment - The police officer that is in a predominantly male profession - The soldier who is out risking their life for their country - The young professional working hard in the face of pay inequality - The stay-at-home mom whose job is never adequately appreciated Women are powerful creatures and the goal of this brand is to reinforce that with a brand that shares that same mindset and passion.
Logo types to explore
A concern here is balance between femininity and masculinity. The brand itself is for women, so it's feminine in nature, however, we want the brand to evoke a sense of strength and courage, so it should not be feminine in a way that would damage that. From an athletic apparel standpoint, an example could be a more feminine version of the brand Under Armour. In the same athletic apparel example, we would not want it to be a softer luxury brand like LuLu Lemon. The black-and-white photocopied attached image is actually our live trademark with the USPTO. Note that we did not use the term "iron man", as that is already trademarked by the IronMan Triathlon races. It is fine to include this in the art, but it shouldn't be a focal point. The art should include reference to the periodic table/element component and the connection should be clear. See the other attachments which show samples of those and how Iron/Fe is listed.
