How ScottWalker 5 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Ole South Shutter & Blind Company (also could be Ole South Shutter & Blind Co.)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We sell high end blinds for windows. Our target market is sophisticated savvy new homeowners in the upper middle class range. Our biggest seller is the plantation shutters, which is a product that originated in the "deep south" during the 1800's. We want to convey that the products we sell are "old style" but in a modern time. Kind of like how everything that used to be popular comes back to be popular. We want to convey a sense of establishment, commitment to quality, and service. The current logo has worked fine for the past 15 years, but we feel it is time to update/overhaul it.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Let designers make suggestions:
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I am attaching a previous logo that we had designed in 2000, that we are semi-happy with. We basically want to update/overhaul the current look to a more modern feel. Open to lime green/black colors. Or any other colors that catch the eye in a hip/modern way
