Accounting & Financial
I am an Independent Investment Advisor and CFP. This design is not directly for my business but for an ancillary website I am in the process of creating. (mysageinvestor) The purpose of this website is to educate and empower individuals of all ages to make sound financial decisions. From my experience, most of the poor decisions and financial inertia can be attributed to a lack of education and knowledge. The initial phase of the site will target an older demographic. Generally individuals 55 and older. As the site evolves it will also incorporate financial and investment education to target millennials. My hope is that the logo/design can ultimately appeal to a very broad demographic. I chose the word “SAGE” for several reasons. As an adjective it means wise, judicious, or prudent. When discussing investment management or financial recommendations the word “prudent” is often used. Another definition is wise through reflection and experience. Sage is also an herb that has spiritual uses, such as healing, clearing space, and energy cleansing. The color of sage is a light grayish-green. For me it encompasses two very distinct aspects of my life. I am business person in the financial industry and I’m also a yogi in my personal life. My intent is to combine these two aspects of my life and deliver something genuine. I consider myself a bit of a minimalist and a craftsman. I like simplicity, elegance and clean lines. I like contemporary with character. A blend of the old and new if you will. (Like my site) I like wood and metal. I hope this helps. Thank you all for reading this and taking your time to design something that will be very meaningful to me. Namaste.
