How nancylg started their logo & hosted website journey
Who are you known as?
Second Chance Ranch (or an abbreviation such as SCR or 2CR)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a family-operated horse boarding facility on a 100-acre ranch in Colorado. We have horses along with rescued dogs, donkeys, and dairy cows. Target audience is western pleasure/trail riding horse people who want their horse to be a horse and be out in the pasture all day just "being a horse" instead of in a stall at a show barn.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Animal & Pet
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.

To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
*Please see attached document with logos we like.* We want a western-themed or rustic-modern themed logo. A cattle-brand type logo with the letters SCR or 2CR is preferred, but is not necessary. Err on the side of a masculine, cowboy aesthetic with sophistication and a little polish and femininity. An image of horses, etc. is not necessary. Our ranch is on the open plains of Colorado with amazing views of the mountains. We do *not* want a typical/classic/traditional equestrian facility looking logo. We are a ranch, not a show barn. The ranch name comes from the rescued horses, donkeys, dogs, and cows on the property, but the business is horse boarding.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the logo and hosted website?
I would like to incorporate pictures of our horses, donkeys, facilities, etc. on most pages. We still need to get a professional photographer to take them. I want the website to speak to people who want to pasture board their horses on a ranch. We are *not* a show barn and do not want to portray anything other than a family-oriented, pleasure riding boarding facility.
